Welcome

The Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery (MLKD) group belongs to the Programming Languages and Software Engineering (PLaSE) laboratory of the Department of Informatics in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

MLKD was formed in Spring 2004 by members of the former LPIS (Logic Programming and Intelligent Systems) Group and new PhD students involved in Machine Learning and Knowledge Discovery research.

06/10/2015: Our group again among the winners of the 3rd version of the BioASQ challenge on large-scale online biomedical semantic indexing and question answering.
24/10/2014: Our paper Label Construction for Multi-Label Feature Construction got the best paper award at the 2014 Brazilian Conference on Intelligent Systems
